One of them in the key items section of the menu is a blatant reference to Twilight. I skim them because I’m a Completionist and then sell them to the librarian in Novigrad. There are books that give you decoction recipes, but they’re rare. Patch made some improvements to books. Reading a book now adds it to the Glossary permanently. Books also no longer weigh anything.
